DR. MATTHEW GRIFFITH
Dr. Griffith was born and raised in Indiana, PA where he graduated from Indiana Area Senior High School in 2015 and from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2018 while completing the advanced 3-year course in Natural Science and Pre-Optometry. He got accepted into the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in the fall of 2018 in Philadelphia, PA, where he was a part of the American Optometric Student Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Student Association, Sports Vision Club, Private Practice Club, and completed an advanced studies course in specialty contact lenses where he received honors during his final externship rotation at school.
Dr. Griffith has an interest in medical eye diseases such as dry eye disease, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. He resides near Hermitage, PA with his high school sweetheart, Taylor, and their new puppy. In his free time, Dr. Griffith enjoys cheering on all Pittsburgh sports teams, the Florida Gators, traveling, hunting, fishing, hanging out with his wife and family, and training his dog to be a retriever. Dr. Griffith looks forward to continuing the tradition of outstanding eyecare at this practice, and to treat the great patients of the Shenango Valley.
