DR. TAYLOR RUPERT
Dr. Rupert was born and raised in Indiana, PA. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a major in Natural Science and a minor in Chemistry. While attending college, she worked part time at her family optometric practice where her interest in ocular health began. Upon graduation from IUP, Dr. Rupert continued her schooling at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Rupert is passionate about helping her patients understand how their ocular health relates to their overall systemic health. She is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of eye conditions including but not limited to diabetic eye care, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. Outside of the office, Dr. Rupert enjoys cooking, exercising, cheering on all Pittsburgh sports, and spending time with her family and new vizsla puppy. Dr. Rupert is excited to be in this area and looks forward to treating the wonderful patients of northwestern Pennsylvania and beyond.
